![]() ![]() I’ve spent a lot of time and effort trying to improve my skin, and thanks to Rodan + Fields amazing skincare products, my skin looks better than ever! Now that my skin has a healthy glow and only needs minimal coverage, it doesn’t make sense to wear full coverage makeup that covers my glow! After only wearing the product for 2 weeks, I can already see a huge improvement in my skin! The makeup I had been using was clogging my pores! Radiant defense is not just non-comedogenic but it is also non-acnegenic which means it won’t cause breakouts. I promise it is not just because I am a Rodan + Fields Consultant! I was honestly super skeptical about this product but I quickly fell in love with how easy it is to blend, the natural & glowy finish it provides, and most of all the lasting skincare benefits I saw! I spent years covering my skin with full-coverage foundation products to cover my awful acne scarring. ![]() So I’m sure you’re curious why I chose Radiant Defense over a normal foundation. So use a cream blush over a cream foundation, or set your foundation with a finishing powder before applying a powder blush. If you are going to add blush or bronzer, always apply cream over cream and powder over powder. Use a translucent finishing power on problem areas, or spots where you get greasy! Finishing powder will help keep your makeup in place! This will keep any eyeshadow from dropping on to your skin and giving you raccoon eyes! Apply eyeliner, mascara, and lip product last.Īlways use a brush for a flawless finish! Your fingers work great in a pinch but a brush will give you a better application and a smooth finish! TADA! You are ready to go!Īlways apply your face product after doing your eyeshadow. Use the brush to blend this color in to the other two. Then go one shade darker than your base and apply under your cheekbones, on the sides of your forehead, on the sides of your nose, and under your jaw line. Use the brush to dab and blend this color in. Then go one shade lighter and dab under your eyes making a triangle, on top of your cheekbones, on the bridge of your nose, center of your forehead and above your lip. The Basic Girl- You’ve got a strong contour game, or you want to have one! Radiant Defense is the perfect product for contouring! It blends better than anything I’ve ever used and will give you a gorgeous healthy glow without the need of any shimmery highlighting powders! Start by applying your base shade as listed above for the Low-Key-Girl. Dab in places you need more coverage and swipe and smooth in places where you want less coverage! Apply more and dab to problem areas. Then use the Radiant Defense brush to dab the product all over your face. Pick one shade of Radiant defense, squeeze your desired amount on to the back of your hand and dap it with your finger on to your face. The Low-Key Girl- You want a flawless finish but you don’t want to look like you are wearing a full face of makeup. All you have to do is squeeze out your desired amount of Radiant Defense and rub it all over your face with your fingertips like you would you sunscreen or moisturizer! This will give you a small amount of coverage while providing all the lasting skincare benefits that Radiant Defense provides! You don’t normally wear makeup because it is too much work. The Lazy Girl- You need something quick and easy to get out the door. In my IGTV video today I am showing you 3 ways to wear Radiant Defense! Check them out below: I’m talking about Rodan + Fields BRAND NEW Radiant Defense! However this time, it actually isn’t considered a makeup product, it is way better! It is a Dermacosmetic, which means it provides lasting skincare benefits while blurring your imperfections. Today I wanted to share with you my favorite finishing product. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve been doing a series on makeup tips! Be sure to check out my IGTV videos explaining some of my favorite products and how to apply them. But I promise to try to work this in better! I’m lucky if she even gets a few 20-30 min naps in her carseat or swing. But the last 2 months, she has decided not to take regular naps. ![]() First of all, I’m so sorry I haven’t posted a blog in forever! Back when JuJu B used to nap, it was a lot easier to write my posts and get them published. ![]()
